Criminal Justice
Bio
Fraters,
My name is Ryan Jerred King. I was born in Spokane, WA in June of 1988 and moved to Medical Lake in 1992. In my time in the little City of Medical Lake I spent most of my time either playing the various sports of baseball, basketball, and football or just hanging out on the lake with my friends. My parents both work for the school district where my dad is a middle school teacher and my mom is a security for the elementary school. I have one older sister. Her name is Ashlee King and she is 24. She graduated from WSU with a degree in psychology. She is currently working for the City of Medical Lake and is also taking classes to get her masters degree at Eastern Washington University.
I graduated high school with about 155 other students, three of which came down to WSU with me. I am in my third year here working my way toward a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. My focus is with my degree is law enforcement. I am planning on graduating in the spring of 2011. My plans after graduation are to apply to police academies all over the Northwest to become a police officer. Then work as a police officer for a few years to achieve my ultimate goal of going federal and working for the DEA or possibly the Border Patrol.
I have had few different jobs in the past. I have worked in a warehouse packaging games; I have worked construction with my uncle and I have worked at Northwest Dealers Auto Auction. Here at WSU I have had a few jobs. I worked for Cougar Security and now I?m currently employed at Ferdinand?s where I make cheese and ice cream.
Since joining TKE in the fall of 2008 I was apart of the re-charting here at WSU. Since that time I have been fortunate enough to be very involved with TKE. I am currently the Hegemon of the chapter where I have been serving since fall of 2008. I also currently joined the Life Loyal Teke program at the 2010 RLC. I have been fortunate enough to go to some of the events sponsored by TKE, the Regional Leadership Conference and the Charles R. Walgreen Jr. Leadership Academy. Going to those events have really shaped how I have felt about TKE. With all the things that I learned from the RLC and the leadership academy I have tried to bring back to our chapter to make it the best it can be. The experience I have collected from those events I feel has helped immensely with our growth over the year, especially with this semester. We are beginning a brand new, new member education program which I have worked with international headquarters to help make it the best it can be for the future of the fraternity.
After witnessing the difficulties of starting a chapter from almost nothing and with the knowledge and experience I have gained through the programs I have attended. Through these programs I have attended I realized the importance of staying involved not only as an undergrad, but as a future alumnus. I plan on being actively a part of the chapter even after I graduate because I recognize the importance of alumni involvement. I want to see the Alpha-Gamma chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Washington State University grow to be a power house on the campus and to be one of the best TKE chapters in the nation. I have all the faith in my fellow fraters and my future fraters to make this happen.

Hello, my name is Kyle Erdman and I am from Spokane Washington. I attended John R Rogers High school where I played football, basketball, baseball, and was the ASB president. Tau Kappa Epsilon has benefited me tremendously since I joined. I have learned my leadership style through TKE and I have gained a whole new respect for the community and people around me. TKE has encouraged me to be involved through the campus and community. I was honored to graduate from the TKE Leadership Academy in the summer of 2009. I also was accepted as a Washington State University 2010 Orientation Counselor. I am a proud Teke and I will continue to better myself through the fraternity, for life. YITB

Fellow Fraters and To Whom It May Concern: My name is Cody Pohler, I was born in Houston, TX in the Kingwood area. My birth date is March 12, 1990. As a boy I was active in every sport that was available. My main sports were soccer and swimming. Once I got to about 4th grade and thought that wearing Speedos was lame I focused fully on soccer. I have a whole family history that graduated from Texas A&M and am the first to attend WSU. My mother, Kitty Pohler, was born in Sherman, TX and was an army brat and moved all over the world with my grandpa and his family of 6 kids. My father, Mark Pohler, was born in Louisiana moved back in forth between there and Houston/Humble Texas.
After 6th grade, 2002, I moved to Anchorage Alaska and have been living there since. I graduated from A.J. Dimond High School in 2008 with a class of 456. I played varsity Soccer and my new love of a sport Tennis. Currently I plan on majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials Engineering. While at WSU, I have participated in multiple intramural sports such as football and soccer. I was also a very active member of the Cougar Club Tennis all of freshman year.
Second semester I joined Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) and am part of the Iota class for the Alpha Gamma chapter. For the first semester of my sophomore year I was part of the Philanthropy committee and have set up a Twister and Dodge ball tournament. I am currently the Hypophetes (Chaplain) for the fraternity and am working on improving overall GPA and closer bonds with brothers, such as work days or more brotherhood events.

Pre-Pharmacy
Bio
Hello my name is Uzoma Mbogu but my peers call me Uzo. I?m a freshman at Washington state university who?s studying pre-pharmacy. I was born on October 9th 1991 and raised all my life in Queens, New York. My father?s name is Chimezie Mbogu and mothers name is Keziah Ndiulor, both of my parents came from Nigeria a small country on the coast of Africa. When they first came they settled in Houston, Texas however they moved to New York two years before I was born. Now my dad lives by himself in New York City while my mom lives with her husband in New Mexico with my half brother and sister. Their names are Ugo he is 8 and Chi-Chi she?s 11. I also have another sister who lives in Nigeria with her grandparents her name is Crystal she is 11 as well, making me the oldest of four. I don?t hear from her since my father and her grandfather are in a custody battle. I graduated from Thomas Edison Technical and Career High School with honors and my advance regents? diploma. My graduating class was a total of 619, it was actually suppose to be 622 but 3 people were left back. While in high school I did Track and Field for three years. Other than that my hobbies are watching TV, sleeping and doing homework.
Before I was came WSU I was planning to run track and field but due to some money issues I was forced to get a job instead. I also wanted to join the pharmacy club but I haven?t been able to do so due to my busy schedule. As a freshman I should work on my time management and set some goals that would help me get better grades. When I first came to WSU I wasn?t planning on becoming a TEKE however when I first met them during Ultimate Frisbee they were very inviting. They invited me to meetings where we discussed what a fraternity is about and I realized it?s not all about booze and parties but about brotherhood. Michael Johnson the prytanis of the Alpha Gamma chapter was even able to persuade my mother into letting me join. I know I wasn?t here during the beginning but now as an official TEKE I would like to leave memories of what I?ve done at WSU before I graduate.

Economics
Bio
Hello, and thanks for reading my bio. My name is Peter van Lunsen, #1493, and I am currently a senior at WSU, studying economics with a focus on environmental studies and resource management. I am serving now as the Pylortes and am working with the Housing Committee as well.
I was born in Wheatridge, Colorado in 1982, hence the name Vintage or more commonly known as "Old Balls." I moved to Washington State in 1991 and went to school until graduation on Mercer Island, WA and graduated in 2000. After this time I joined the United States Marine Corp and served as a grunt in the infantry and deployed to Japan and then from there deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Also, I served with Marine Corp Security Forces at Bangor, WA for 2 years guarding nuclear assets and served security for international inspections involved with the S.T.A.R.T. treaty, convoys and domestic movements of strategical assets. After I was honorably discharged, I moved to Redmond, WA and bought a condo, which I still own today. From 2005 to 2008 I had a few jobs, one I was proud to be apart of was working with a contracted security company a very famous public figure. In 2008, I moved to Pullman, WA and attended WSU for my final two years of college at the ripe age of 26. My second semester (Spring 2009) at WSU lead me to travel abroad where I met Mike Johnson, the then president of Alpha Gamma, Tau Kappa Epsilon. We were room mates for three months in Florence, Italy and had a great time enjoying learning new cultures and a few beers here and there. After I came back to WSU from my abroad journey, I inquired more about Alpha Gamma, and eventually obtained a bid to join in late 2009. From here, I started to embrace the new opportunities of collegic brotherhood, as I had experienced many signifigant friendships through the Marine Corp and wanted to make more. As 2010 closed in upon all of us, I ran for Pylortes and was elected. Since then I have worked as hard as time will allow to ensure that Skull House, a house that has been long in the Alpha Gamma possession, returns to being the premier house on campus. From past working experience through hands on and leadership techniques, I enjoy helping the brothers of Alpha Gamma bring the house together.

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and spent the first 8 years of my life there. I learned to love the outdoors and spent many of the summers and winters of my childhood in a cabin in central Alaska, near Glenallen. I went to highschool in Spokane, Washington at MHS. I came to WSU to pursue a degree in Marketing, which I will hopefully take to grad school and beyond. I am a proud newly initiated member of TKE, and hope to be one of the men to take this fraternity to new heights of success and glory.
